Subject : Portraits in Pastel In this workshop you will explore several pastel painting techniques resulting in a luscious color portraits. You will gain command of the Broken Color technique which uses similar colors to create a more interesting pastel painting. You will also be trained in the hatching, feathering and scumbling techniques which are very important for the use of shading. As you gain control over these techniques you will confidently acquire an exciting new range of color awareness through a variety of applications. By the end of the classes you will have a beautiful color rich pastel painting of a portrait.
