4.5-hour Daytime Workshop for Beginner to Advanced Students.

Level: Beginner to Advanced Instructor: PJ Svedja * Supplies Not Included (see supply list below) Supplies may be borrowed for additional $20 paid cash to instructor on day of class OR high quality supplies can be purchased from our studio supply shop. Subject: Through the Blue Door Learn the importance of value over color. We will paint a door and tree using unexpected colors while focusing on the lights and darks to create form and texture. There will be a half-hour break during this workshop. Please bring your lunch/snack. ---------------------------------------------- * * * * * * SUPPLY LIST * * * * * * ---------------------------------------------- TOOLS: ------------------------- - 12x16, 16x20 or 18x24 size canvas - Paint Pallet - Pallet knife - Water Cup - Apron (Optional) ACRYLIC PAINT COLORS ------------------------- - Titanium White - Phthalo Blue - Ultramarine Blue - Burnt Sienna - Napthol Red Light - Permanent Green Light - Benzimidazolone Yellow Medium -Quinacridone Magenta (These are the basic colors we will be using but feel free to bring more.) BRUSHES ------------------------- I Recommend a brush pack with a variety of brushes ranging from small detail rounds to large 1” flat. I also like to have a few bristle brushes as well as nylon brushes. If you are unsure just bring what you have and I can go over them with you. ------------------------- Questions? Cancellation Policy
class bookings need to be done on our website, even if you plan to pay in person. We accept all major credit cards and PayPal online. Payments: In-person credit card sales will no longer be accepted for classes so the teacher can focus on getting the students ready. The only in-person payments will be cash/check, but the online pre-registration will still need to be done, and we ask that you write a message letting us know the planned payment method. Cancellations & Refunds: Any course that doesn’t meet a minimum of 4 prepaid students 48hrs before the start will likely be canceled. We will notify students via email and text. Prepaid registrations may be shifted to another upcoming course or refunded. If you miss one of the scheduled classes, contact your teacher directly to schedule the makeup day. No refunds will be issued for registration cancellations within 4 business days of the first class, or for any course where 1 or more classes were attended.
