In 2008, a journey through the Sabi Sands of South Africa left an indelible mark on my soul. Now in 2026, I have finally translated those memories into bursts of colors.

The lion is not merely a creature of tawny gold, but a monumental presence rendered in fiery oranges and deep magentas. In contrast, the flamingo captures rhythmic grace and social energy through its vibrant corals and electric blues.

In this series, I utilize my signature style to transform subjects into kaleidoscopic icons. My wife Kim and I are honored to display our diverse styles next to each other at Studio ArtFarm.

With a background in gardencenter management, I’ve spent years “painting” with plants – coordinating the colors, textures, and heights of garden beds. Today, I translate this expertise to the canvas with my series, Flowers and Foliage.

I am fascinated by how acrylics, oils, watercolor, and mixed media can transform a flat surface. In this series, I explore how colors and textures play off one another to create vibrant impressionistic takes on flora and fauna.

My art is a celebration of growth – both of the floral subjects that I love and my journey as an artist. Based in Central Florida, I enjoy learning new techniques and collaborating in the studio with my husband, PJ.
